Esri Canada has an immediate need for a Business Analyst based out of Toronto. The Business Analyst role will be to proactively identify and promote business and operational process improvements within the organization. This position reports to the Manager of Business Analysis

The Business Analyst responsibilities include:

  • Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes and prototype new procedures for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement by incorporating the latest technology developments, trends and innovations
  • Collect, analyze, evaluate suitability, document and validate business requirements. Translate business requirements into well-architected customer-centric solutions.
  • Responsible for assessment, validation, conceptual design, configuration and deployment of business applications or enhancements to existing applications
  • Liaise with various Business groups in the organization to facilitate implementation of new or improved business processes
  • Communicate process changes, enhancements, and modifications – verbally or through written documentation – to management, peers, staff, and other employees so that issues and solutions are understood
  • Provide in-depth SAP product and functional knowledge in SD/ MM / FI business area
  • Responsible for administration and ongoing configuration of cloud-based applications, including Salesforce.com platform
  • Coordinate and perform in-depth functional and system integration testing
  • Develop and maintain documentation on processes, policies, configuration, standard operating procedures
  • Develop end user training materials and deliver training
  • Providing business support and troubleshooting assistance for production issues

Specific skill requirements:

  • College diploma or university degree in a related field or related work experience
  • A sound understanding of business processes across organization
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Functional expertise of SAP ECC (SD / MM /FI)
  • Experience in the Fiori application preferable
  • Have a working knowledge of Salesforce.com platform or any other CRM
  • Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, and software development lifecycles
  • Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and integrate business processes across systems
