Skills Ontario Competition

Esri Canada is a proud sponsor of the Skills Ontario Competition from May. 06 - 08, 2019, in Etobicoke, ON.

The Skills Ontario Competition conducts challenges for students, designed to test skills required in trades and technology careers. The philosophy of the Skills Competition is to reward students for excellence, directly involve the industry in evaluating student performance, and keep training programs relevant to employers’ needs.

Over 475 high school, post secondary and apprentice students compete in 42 skilled trades and technology contests in six industry sectors. Winners of the provincial competition may form Team Ontario and compete against their peers at the Skills Canada National Competition.
