New ArcGIS Pro Tools for Crime Analysis

Session Overview

This session will explore the analytic capabilities of the new ArcGIS Pro add-in for crime analysis. The add-in combines many of the most commonly used analyst tools with some new custom ones into a single toolbar to better support crime analysis workflows. This toolbar is a part of Esri’s ongoing effort to improve its desktop functionalities and support the law enforcement and national security communities.

Key Points

Learn about the new tools to support common tasks such as:

  • automating geocoding
  • improved querying and extracting of date and time
  • 80/20 analysis
  • measuring percent change
  • incident sequencing and incident linking (motor vehicle theft to recovery locations)
